Our breakfast nook, more commonly called "the red room," has finally been furnished. I found the table online for $130. The chairs were donated from my parents (they were a light pine color, and I painted them black). Ryan put my old TV up in the corner. And the Varsity photo was a gift from my brother Trey.

It looks GREAT! Love the checkerboard floor with the whole motif, too!
How romantic to have a breakfast room! It's one of my dreams in a home, like a greenhouse and a library, and secret passages all throughout.
Dad wants to know what room he can smoke his cigar in ?
Okay - this is the "real" Susan - the post before was really Dad pretending to be me . . . BTW - Dad wants to know where he can smoke his cigar? I'm thinking the garage ! ! !
I happen to LOVE your breakfast nook - looks like you managed to bring them "Dawgs" to Indy :-)
